About Michelle Cresta

Michelle Cresta, the principal of Community Solutions, has over a decade of experience in the municipal finance field. She is a Certified Municipal Accountant and a member of the Massachusetts Accountants and Auditors Association, the Massachusetts Collectors/Treasurers Association, Massachusetts Municipal Association, the Massachusetts Government Finance Officers Association, and the Massachusetts Association of Town Finance Committees.

Michelle previously served as the Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer for the Town of Lincoln, Massachusetts. In that role, she directed all operations of the Accounting, Treasurer and Tax Collectors departments. Previous to this position, she served as the Town Accountant for the Town of Wenham, Massachusetts and for the Treasurer and Accounting departments of the Town of Billerica, Massachusetts.

Michelle was also a municipal auditor with the firm of Powers and Sullivan for several years, overseeing the financial audits of several municipalities and districts.

A graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover Massachusetts with a degree in Accounting and Management, Michelle is also a member of the Town of Wakefield Massachusetts Finance Committee.
